Job Description
Champion architecture and technology decision making in R&D to ensure long term resilience to change and quality of our solutions.Steer complex, cross-service challenges to a timely and clear decision, and ensure execution is compatible with that decision.
Own authority to veto a decision taken in one of the R&D groups and if needed get it into management decision.
Responsible for the creation, development, communication and implementation of architecture standards and principles, including (but not only) cross solution definitions (domain map)
Work together with the Technology Office to drive the implementation of existing technological standards, recommended tools and best practices (Golden path, North Star, “Tech radar”) and to establish new ones.
This includes (but not limited to): Software development languages, SAAS services, testing tools and the democratization of AI in R&D as part of our product AI strategy.
Lead and champion mindset transformation to modern SaaS development and architecture practices.
Act as the lead product manager for R&D level technology investments:Define CyberArk solutions’ high-level architecture, connecting the business needs to customer experience, technology leadership and efficiency.
Oversee the roadmap of the developer platform .
Lead the technological L&D program for the technology community, co-operating with HR L&D
Directly lead a small team of architects and the cross R&D architect’s guild (including having an agreed % of all architects' time dedicated to the guild).

Qualifications
Technology leader, experience as senior engineering manager.
Experience in building large distributed systems with multi core architecture.
Experience in building SAAS native applications preferably on AWS
Experience with managing teams and managers.
Ability to see the big picture and connect technology to business problems.
Ability to lead without authority.
Experience in navigating complicated tradeoff decisions involving multiple stakeholders to a clear decision.
People engager.
Advantage:Experience in the cyber security domain or in handling security in SAAS environment.
