What’s the job?
Fiverr is seeking a dedicated Policies Manager to join our Trust and Safety team. In this role, you’ll define and implement policies that promote a safe and respectful environment for our community. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure that our policies align with company goals and support our diverse range of business initiatives.
The position is temporary for 6 months.
What am I going to do?
Policy Development: Define and implement content, behavioral, product policies and moderation guidelines. Research industry standards and gather stakeholder input to draft effective policy proposals.
Industry Research: Monitor emerging Trust and Safety risks and global trends, including AI regulation and compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA).
Gap Analysis: Identify policy gaps and create action plans to address them based on priority and impact.
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with teams such as Product, Customer Care, Legal, and PR to develop comprehensive, enforceable policies, clearly deliver policy rationales and changes to internal stakeholders.
Policy Communication: Regularly update the Fiverr Community Standards and create educational resources to inform users about new and existing policies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Escalation Point: Act as a point of contact for policy-related issues and handle urgent or sensitive situations effectively.
What are the qualifications?
3-4 years in policy, project management, or law.
Bachelor’s degree (Law degree is an advantage).
Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Proven experience in cross-functional communication and consensus-building.
Experience with data-driven decision-making to assess policy impact.
A deep interest in content policy and online community development.
Experience with regulatory frameworks and public policy, especially in technology or social media.
