We’re looking for a Competitive Intelligence Manager (Temporary) who is passionate about investigating, sharing knowledge and shaping important business processes.

The Competitive Intelligence Manager will provide coverage for 6 to 9 months while our Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager is on maternity leave.

How you’ll shape the future of B2B sales

  • Monitor, document and communicate competitive moves, ecosystem developments, and technology trends.

  • Gather intelligence from primary and secondary sources, internal and external l sources.

  • Deep dive into specific features, companies, technologies and market trends

  • Develop deep expertise in our competitors, their product feature sets, strengths and weaknesses, GTM strategies, messaging and more, as well as our market and ecosystem.

  • Work closely with Product and Product Marketing to build compelling messaging and positioning for internal and external audiences, sales enablement, to be used across multiple touchpoints.

  • Work closely with the sales, biz dev and customer success teams to impact objection handling and win rates in competitive deals.

  • Review competitive calls, conduct customer interviews and win/loss analysis and reporting.

Here’s what we need from you

  • 2+ years of related experience in Competitive Intelligence or Market Research role/s.

  • 2+ years experience in a software (preferably SaaS) or data company.

  • Knowledge of go-to-market technologies and markets – a plus.

  • Analytical, strategic thinker – comfortable absorbing information from many external and internal sources and distilling it into actionable insights and recommendations for the business – a must.

  • Technically savvy – you pick up on technical things quickly, enjoy learning new skills, and are comfortable collaborating with and influencing product management and engineering teams.

  • Great presentation skills.

  • Strong time management skills.

  • Deal comfortably with all levels of leadership, including executives, can present without undue tension and nervousness, and can determine the best way to get things done with them by talking their language and responding to their needs.

  • A collaborator – can create meaningful, successful cadences and workflows with multiple stakeholders and different teams, whether it is a joint cross-departmental project, harnessing existing collective knowledge or setting reporting and knowledge sharing processes.
