What you'll be doing:
Lead the Networking organization validation activities.
Build custom Hardware validation test plans for devices and component level qualifications.
Manage multiple validation teams. Coach, develop, and mentor team managers. Conduct employee performance evaluations. Support other managerial tasks of team as needed.
Apply your knowledge of validation/test principles and techniques to lead your team to creating test plans and implement them by developing tools and automation for functional and electrical validation
Collaborate and integrate with all HW team: Board Design, Mechanics, Thermal, PCB Layout, Production, Software/Firmware and more
Support validation and approval of alternate/second source components for the devices. Building validation plan and then perform validation to qualify it.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
10+ years' experience in electrical system validation, or test engineering
5+ years of demonstrated management experience with teams of 10+
Ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written forms
Ability to multitask many assignments and coordinate testing for numerous programs
Define new processes to improve coverage and overall product quality
Self-starter with the ability to work independently given minimal supervision/direction
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
5+ years as a board designer
Experience in data-center switches products design
